Key Dates

Medicare Enrollment Periods

Initial Enrollment Period (IEP)

7-month window around your 65th birthday (3 months before, your birthday month, 3 months after).

Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)

October 15 – December 7 each year. Make changes to your Medicare coverage for the following year.

Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment

January 1 – March 31. Switch from Medicare Advantage to Original Medicare or change MA plans.

Special Enrollment Period (SEP)

Qualify if you have certain life events, like moving or losing other coverage.
